Having worked in an electrology clinic and also a patient who has undergone nearly 120 hours of electrolysis, I have a unique perspective to share. During the course of this webinar, I will share personal observations, experiences and interactions with other transgender patients.
Hair removal, by its very nature is a fairly intimate experience that takes place over time – without a strong bond of trust, that patient will not come back. We will explore some things that can make your transgender patients feel safe, welcome and more relaxed.
I will also share experiences as a patient that were both stress inducing and others that put me at ease.
In the end, if you understand and can empathize with your patients, you will be rewarded with the best possible return; happy patients with a good result and word of mouth recommendations.
