While laser hair removal (LHR) has gained popularity for rapid bulk reduction, its limitations and risks highlight the unique and essential role of electrolysis in both aesthetic and medically necessary care. Drawing on a comprehensive literature review, this session highlights technological innovations, compares electrolysis with laser modalities, and emphasizes the need for standardized training and research to advance industry legitimacy.
