SUMMARY:The Lost Art of Front Desk Communication: Where AI Meets Human Connection
DESCRIPTION:In this presentation\, Robyn Graham\, CPE LE RE CME CCE CLHRP LSO\, explores the balance between traditional front desk etiquette and modern AI integration in today’s client-centered environment. Drawing from decades of professional experience\, she highlights the lost art of personal connection—eye contact\, tone\, follow-through—and demonstrates how these “old-school” values can coexist with automation tools that streamline scheduling\, communication\, and record-keeping. Attendees will learn practical ways to maintain empathy\, professionalism\, and brand consistency while leveraging AI for greater efficiency. The goal: to inspire a renewed sense of courtesy and precision in every client interaction\, whether human or digital.

SUMMARY:All That Blazing Light - Laser Physics & Safety
DESCRIPTION:Presented by: Petrane Reddick MA\, LSO\, CME\, CCE\, LE\, FS\n  \n  \nThis presentation is intended to delve into the Physics behind lasers and uncover the effects of Light used in Hair Removal Treatments. Participants will gain more understanding of how light of a particular wavelength gets absorbed and causes damage to the tissue. We will discuss the principle of Selective Photo Thermolysis and see how much depth of penetration affects the outcome of the treatment. \n  \n  \n  \nIn explaining the theories involved in the operation of the Laser devices the use of visuals will help deliver a relationship of the Laser Parameters. There are so many factors involved in helping to ensure the best possible outcome for the treatment. It is necessary that we understand principles such as characteristics of light\, depth of penetration\, light tissue interaction and selecting the right laser for each skin type. All this will be covered in addition to the safe use of lasers. \n
