Welcome Clinicians
The Society for Clinical and Medical Hair Removal, Inc. (SCMHR) is an international
non-profit organization with members in the United States, Canada, Australia,
Japan and beyond. SCMHR supports all methods of hair removal and is dedicated
to the research of new technology that will keep its members at the pinnacle of
their profession, offering safe, effective hair removal to their clients.
SCMHR is a rapidly growing organization dedicated to keeping its members
knowledgeable about the ever-evolving profession of hair removal. We
welcome all allied health professionals interested in hair removal, including
physicians, nurses, electrologists, estheticians and others to join this association. The
SCMHR, along with its Education Committee and the International Commission for
Hair Removal Certification (ICHRC), provide educational modules, home study programs,
and certification to keep members at the forefront of the profession.
We anticipate the future needs of our members and our profession seeking
the needed information on the newest technology in hair removal and offer the
only national accredidation aimed toward physicians, nurses, and medical estheticians
to gauge/show their knowledge of this profession.
